Reminder: Start Your Mother’s Day Marketing

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and it’s time to look at all the ways we can help you, and your salon, support the mums of your community. But you need to be quick, the month will fly by and before you know it, it’s the 19th March and you haven’t cashed in on the retail opportunity the day provides.

In 2022, the UK spent a total of £1.23billion. Mother’s Day is your chance to cut your own slice of the pie. Chocolates and flowers may be traditional for mum, but the last few years we have seen a push towards self-care, natural beauty, relaxation, and wellbeing, with a big focus on experiences.

Mother’s Day on social media:

A common mistake made on social media is using the platform to make a ‘hard sell’. Ensure 80% of your social posts are full of “What’s in it for me?” tips, fun trivia, and handy information. The overall sales message should only make up 20% of your social posts.
